THE PROGRAM:

Open to all J4 and J3 girls in PNSA. Z Girls is a program aimed at empowering young ski racer girls with the skills and perspective they need not only to thrive in their sport, but more importantly, to thrive in life.

The goal of Z Girls is to supplement what the girls learn on the ski hill with skills and concepts that will help them to elevate their athletic achievement and their overall happiness. Half of each Z Girls session is dedicated to some kind of fun exercise or ski-specific conditioning, and the second half of each session engages the girls in discussion and journaling activities based on that day's focus-topic.

Attend all five sessions for maximum impact, or just drop-in for a few. Please see the schedule below for details:

WHAT'S UP WITH THE NAME?

One of Libby's favorite things about the sport of ski racing is the feeling of being totally weightless, the sensation of ZERO gravity. Libby created Z Girls motivated by her vision of a world where all girls have the confidence and tenacity to chase their dreams, to operate from a place of ZERO limitations. Zero gravity, zero limitations: Z Girls!

Z Girls

Z Girls was created by Libby Ludlow and Jilyne (McDonald) Higgins in effort to give back to the ski racing community that gave each of them so much. Looking back on their ski careers, they can see how the sport of ski racing taught them tremendous life lessons and molded them into the successful and confident women they are today. Through Z Girls, Libby and Jilyne hope to empower young ski racer girls with the skills and perspective they need to dream BIG and operate from a place of ZERO limitations.
